Businesses relocating or expanding in Kingman County may be eligible for specific incentives offered by the State of Kansas, individual cities in the county and Kingman County. During the 1994 legislative session , lawmakers passed Senate Bill #732 which provides tax rebates for new contruction and rehabilitation for existing structures. In order to implement the legislation locally, each municipality must adopt a plan and designate an area in which they want to promote revitilizatio and development or redevlopment.
